I have put a 95 front end on just because I couldn??t find stiffer springs for the original set of forks (which come with the bike also). I have a spare clutch and full gasket set also.

Yamaha DT400 1975 project matching frame and engine numbers, Unregistered US import comes with US title and nova, the bikes in fair condition for its age does have a few dents in the tank please study the pictures for the condition of the bike, it does need a few jobs doing the front exhaust bracket is missing the fork seals will want changing, rear mud guard is cut down, kick start ratchet slips can still start the bike, the inlet manifold is cracked, the carb will want rebuilding as the slides... more

I brought this 4 years ago put new carbs on a brand new mot had all intentions of getting it up to concourse condition, but fell sick and never used it we got it out of the barn yesterday charged battery put fresh petrol in and she fired up. But I am no longer fit enough for this. I have owned this bike since 1993, for the last 15 years it has been unused and kept in a dry garage
The engine is incredibly strong. After 15 years sat I cleaned the carb, fuel tank and within 5 or so kicks it started and you can hear it running in the video. No nasty rattles and strong pick up as it always did

This is a 2 previous owner bike, I purchased it in 2017 with every intention of restoring it. Unfortunately family circumstances have changed.
