The honda was sat outside in all elements for the best part of 30yrs i have a portfolio of start to finish (What a job ) but the results speak for its self , i saved were i could and left all original parts but put back exactly were i removed parts The engine was stripped and rebored new top end and bottom all bearings replaced in a nut shell the lot !! Here from a Private Collection is a True Classic Honda CB500 Four.
A little bit of background here, from a recorded article back in the day.
The bike was a 52, 000 mile Rusty Old Barn Find with a lot of parts missing back in 1983 which was bought for £200. The Journey then began - firstly turning it into a Cafe Racer - £1400 spent and 2 years time spent. It was nearly finished when a friend of the owner said it would be worth more as a Standard CB500 Four and the next chapter began.... more
