1960 MATCHLESS MOTORCYCLE G2CS, THIS IS NOT A RUNNING MOTORCYCLE BUT A PROJECT THAT HAS MOST OF THE PARTS INCLUDED 1960 Matchless G2CS motorcycle. It does not allow me to just pick Matchless. However Matchless was bought out by Norton in the 1960's. The 250 motor. I have a green Michigan title for it. I have the original certificate showing all parts original on motor, frame and trans. Serialnumber: 20M3 126331. The serial numberson the frame and engine match. Early Commando 750cc engine had an engine prefixof 20M3. The very first production of 750cc Commando from 1968 had a serialnumber of 126125 and the last one from 1968 had a serial number of 129999

This Domiracer 600 was built in around 2002. Believe it??s last outing was at Killalane, Ireland 2003
It was then purchased by a collector from Bonhams in 2012 for £4370 and has been in Dry storage for many years since

Hello and thank you for looking at my 1946, Norton 16H.
She??s a lovely solid old thing and wears her patina well. Stops, starts, doesn??t smoke, oil tight, charges and does everything it should. Bushes are nice and tight on the girders. I have added modern grease nipples to make sure they take grease properly.
The bike was sold new to the Aylesbury area in 1946. (Paperwork comes with the bike to confirm this)

It has a 600cc engine which was professionally rebuilt by Terry Hobbs, a Norton Main Agent, in Plymouth. The bike was entered in the Stafford Show where it won a rosette

Norton N15cs 'Desert sled' These bikes were made primarily for export to the American market. A 750 Norton Atlas engine in an AMC frame to survive riding in the desert. This bike has had extensive work done on the engine under the supervision of Norman White. It has had a crank regrind and balance plus re bore and new pistons. This works machine was originally registered to NortonMotorcycles Ltd 2nd December 1947 and ridden by Nortons top riders of the day. Jack Blackwell who joined Norton Trials Team in 1947 appeared at the Alan trial in September on the prototype and a few weeks later at The Scott Trial.
