Classic Bikes for sale: 1956

Hello,
Up for sale is a 1956 Triumph T110. This bike was built to be a replica of a famous flat track bike called ??pitty tink?? raced by Jim Ott! I bought it non running, probably sat a long time after being built, got it dialed and the the bud Ekins 141 high pipe on there and the bike had no kickstand so I found a nice superior stand to make work! 1956 New Hudson autocycle.
This belonged to my father in law whom owned it along with his brother from many years back.
The condition is pretty good really and remonstrated in the price. Having looked over the bike, the tyres have plenty of tread but the sidewalls have perished somewhat. 1956 FL Panhead, matching belly numbers, 4 speed ratchet top, Linkert M74-B carb, Cycle Electrics charging, Ebeyond ignition, 12 volt electrics and even has an oil cooler!

This auction is for my 1956 'swinging arm' D3 BSA Bantam. I have owned it since 2001 and was bought from a friends father's estate after his passing. It is on its original Ipswich registration (URT ) so is still close to its 'Home Town' I recommissioned it in 2017 using as many original parts as possible but replaced the wheel rims (now polished stainless steel) plus a modern rectifier and horn (original available). A long term project that will produce a rare and interesting bike. Bad points:- a few holes on the back frame; probably siezed; cable lug on gearbox broken; oil tank has a dent; dynamo is incomplete; the frame number is faint though correct ; the engine number has been rubbed by the high level exaust, etc, etc! Good points:- it's wheelable on it's Hinckley front end (not part of it's value but saleable); matching numbers are genuine; the side stand lug is attached; it has a working centre ... more
