1965 BSA LIGHTNING CLUBMAN
SOLD WITH NO RESERVE
Selling on behalf of a friend. This was part of a private collection of British motorbikes
It was purchased in a Cheffins of Cambridge Classic bike auction in April 2005. It was sold as a genuine clubman but I'm not 100% sure the it is a genuine clubman? so viewing and inspection before purchase is welcome.

1965 BSA A65 lightning Clubman 650ccAs verified by the bsa owners club. See frame number and you can also do your own checks .with later 1970 thunderbolt engine fitted in 1982 .
v5c for a lightning clubman and frame number which only 204 where ever built
Has later much better Twin leading shoe front brake .
Please see the many pictures for condition and parts fitted Could easily be changed back to a clubman spec and be very valuable then

Extremely rare matching numbers BSA A65 Hornet. 1966 East Coast model. Totally gone through but retaining all its original parts. Frame still in its original BSA paint. The mudguards and exhausts are also the original BSA parts. The fuel tank is a Holts works aluminium reproduction which has been painted in the correct Cherokee red. I still have the original fibreglass tank which is in very good condition but I would not recommend using it with modern fuel. Engine has been fully rebuilt with 9... more

This is my BSA Rocket 3 which I have had for a number of years now Has had rebor and new pistons since I??ve owned it Runs well, no big nasty oil leaks or noises Bit of paint missing off front mudguard as you can see in the picture Reasonable amount of history to come with the bike Used at least once a month Only selling due to knees and hands being knackered, will be gutted to see it go!
