Only 20mls since full rebuild .Engine, carbs rebuilt .Motogaget install inc fob start . New wheels, tyres (Arrow Roadmaster mk 2) Adjustable rear shocks etc, etc .Great starter, runner .Hand made one off exhaust . Cost over 10k to build by ForgeMoto Liverpool .Unfortunately owner moved abroad and left it in a damp shed for a year -hence paint on the engine pitting and some chrome showing pitting also . Honda CB550 American import, not had chance to get it running but has great compression on kick start, I've bought new side panels new handlebars new switch gear for both sides, plans have changed and I no longer have the time, she is registered in the UK and the V5 is in my name, any questions I'm happy to answer... more

This is my 1978 Honda CB550. In 2018 it had a £3500 full engine and gear box rebuild carried out by D and M Engineering in Newark. A classic motorcycle restoration specialist. It has done 2100 miles since then just going back and forth for a coffee at the beach 10 miles away. It has had a full rewire and has had the original rectifier and regulator replaced with a modern regulator rectifier. It still uses the original coils with regular points and condenser changes.
