As you can see from the images and video the bike is running well. If you know these airheads they are robust and go forever. Under my ownership since November 2021 the bike has had a full service all fluids, new tyres, brake pads front and rear, new rear master cylinder supplied and the bike brakes re commissioned by Reiten Motarrad Suffolk, and a new rear caliper supplied from (James Sherlock BMW) the front brakes are the ATE type not the best but it stops :-) . I am selling my BMW R45 to make space in my garage. The bike is unrestored but better than a "Barn find " : I bought the bike in 2010 to use as a run about / second bike for the family but it was originally erroneously on a Q plate making insurance tricky.
