There??s quite a story behind this bike, Mike the previousowner bought it in 1976 for £110 with the intention of restoring it when he retired
41 years later after a painstaking no expense spared project therestoration was complete, he had kept detailed records and receipts for thework which totalled £5755 and the bike looked amazing
Sadly when he started the engine he found that it ran badlyand had a massive oil leak from the crankcase joint and would need a completestrip and rebuild ... more

1960Matchless G11CS 600cc
Here is a very tidy easy to start and sweet runningexample of the AMC twin. It started life as a 1961 Matchless G12CSR but hasbeen fitted at some point with a 58 / G11CS (600CC) engine. This makes a greatbike! The 600 engine is generally considered to be AMC??s best twin. It has alot more grunt and flexibility than the 500cc version but is smoother and lessstressed than the 650
