This has been a project and the bike has had all electrics and switchgear replaced with original items. 1974 honda cb250 g5 low milage only 14 000 starts runs and rides well recent work includes new battery new front brake pipe brake calliper piston and brake pads front brake master cylinder seals replaced carbs striped and cleaned tank cleaned and fuel tap seals replaced all electrics work the bike has never been restored and is all original please study pictures for condition this is not a mint bike but ideal for restoration or in my opinion leave and use as is any questions please call on ... more

i did this bike up at the start of the year new tyerschain sprockets downpipes fork seals shocks handlebars
front brake rebuildand quite a few other bits
took it for a MOT and then rode it have done about 1500 miles on it over the past few months but sadly the engine has started to run a bit ruff bogging down a bit, will probiley need some TLC and i just dont have the time or intrest to strip it down.

Not very originalbut starts, runs, stops etc. It has a couple of major issues. Itjumps out of 2nd gear as soon as you try to engage it andhas exhaust smoke on the right side. Seems like oil is leaking downthe right exhaust valve guide which then gets blasted out though theexhaust port. It is a bit clanky around that area so guessing itneeds new guides

I completed this project 10 months ago and need to move on I sympathetically restored this bike new brakes ,tyres ,cables ,hoses ,switches ,new tank ,new seat cover ,anything that was needed It falls into the Historic motorcycle category so no need for road tax or mot This bike runs as sweet as ,matching numbers, she has done 38977miles
