Classic Bikes for sale: Velocette MSS

I am listing this for a friend and fellow Velocette club member .
I have had this motorbike for 39 years and am only the second owner from new The first owner bought this bike at the beginning of WW2 and put 84, 000 miles on the clock in 40 years
The bike was refurbished in the 1980s by Brian Giles, the Velocette specialist. Although this was some time ago the bike still looks very good

This bike was first registered in 2019. It has an age-related plate and historic tax status. V5C in my name at this address. The frame was made in 1954 as was the engine which came from another source. I have the factory dating certificate
I have built this bike in the style of 1960's MSS's so it has the four gallon tank, the later seat and headlamp nacelle set-up
At the moment it has a problem with falling out of top gear on the overrun and there are a couple of oil leaks around the ... more
