BSA Bantam 1966 D10 4 speed transmission sold as a running project
The bike starts with a fully charged battery and has run well before stored last couple of years.
Brakes suspension and electrics all good
However the clutch plates or perhaps the whole clutch will need replaced as it is reluctant to come out of gear once engaged The problem is clutch related not gear box related
The bike is completely standard and would be an easy winter project

This auction is for my 1956 'swinging arm' D3 BSA Bantam. I have owned it since 2001 and was bought from a friends father's estate after his passing. It is on its original Ipswich registration (URT ) so is still close to its 'Home Town' I recommissioned it in 2017 using as many original parts as possible but replaced the wheel rims (now polished stainless steel) plus a modern rectifier and horn (original available). I took this Lovely BSA Bantam D7 in part payment for a bike I was selling and now I need to sell it to get my money back This is what I know, I am not an expert in vintage bikes but if you are looking I guess you are!

Believed to be originally shipped to Saigon from London, Story goes it was won in a card game by a UK soldier then brought back to UK during the evacuation in 1972.
Have tried to find more information from Bantam Owners club and Army records but so far not much coming back
