Lovely example of a 500cc Venom saved from a family shed 5 years ago where it had sat since last tax elapsed in 1977
Was previously a sidecar unit (side car long sine gone) hence smaller diameter rear wheel with alloy rim and no centre stand fitted
Bike has been gone through and boasts new tyres, cables, bars etc (too much to list) but has not been used for last 3 years
registration has elapsed and not on DVLA register but original 1966 D reg can be reapplied for or an age related ... more

This Viper is in good clean running condition. It has been mine since 1975, and has been kept as original as possible. It has been used very little since the 1980s, and has not been on the road at all since 2010. It is currently on SORN
It has the original registration, and all log-books from new (five previous owners). It has its original chrome mudguards in good condition, and original Dunlop chrome rims. Wheels and spokes are good, and have not been touched during my ownership. Headlamp ... more

1958 Velocette Venom 500cc
Bike has been fully repainted in glorious gloss black due to the previous owner having the bike powder coated green as he was fed up with black. Definitely the wrong decision
However the previous keeper assured me that much work had been done to
it including new:-
Big end
Oil pump
Front fork internals
KTT Belt primary drive with modern clutch plates
Swing arm bushes and pin
Modern brake linings
Tyres and tubes
Rear shocks

1958 Velocette Venom / Viper Owned by me since 1999 V5c in my name and the old buff log book and it looks like i'm the fourth owner. Originally a Viper but a 500cc Venom engine was fitted sometime in the past . It had a cosmetic restoration in 2001 by me including powder coated frame ,respray but the tank needs doing again as it has some scratches , new wiring harness, stainless steel rims and spokes , stainless steel mudguards and most nuts and bolts changed to stainless steel ,speedo stripped ... more

1959 Velocette Viper 350cc, slight caféracer style ride restore project

Here is an interesting Velocette Viper ride-restore type running projectavailable with NO RESERVE!
The bike starts and runs OK. The engine has very little compression butdoes start well. There are no knocks or rattles and no smoke but there is anaudible hum / whine from the engine, presumably timing gear
