1959 Velocette Venom 500cc, original, unrestored with V5C
This 1959Venom has been sleeping since the mid 1970??s. It would most probably be veryeasy to get running and recommission for the road in original unrestoredcondition. I have noted the mag has a good spark

1963 L E.Velocette 12v ex Somerset police
Older restorationin good condition.
Theframe / body is in good condition but not perfect. The dual seat fitted is ingood condition and the solo seat will also come with the bike. Pannier framesand canvas panniers also come with the bike but are not fitted although thebolt holes are there. Both wheels and spokes are very good but one of the rimsis chrome and one is stainless steel. The tyres are little worn but old

I have had this motorbike for 39 years and am only the second owner from new The first owner bought this bike at the beginning of WW2 and put 84, 000 miles on the clock in 40 years
The bike was refurbished in the 1980s by Brian Giles, the Velocette specialist. Although this was some time ago the bike still looks very good

I have helped with the final bits and bobs and must say it starts and runs well with good oil pressure and return A video of the engine running is available

These two vintage Velocettes are both ex Hull police machines. The radio fittings and modified tank option can be seen from photographs. They were bought by myself in the early 1970's as a pair of dismantled bikes. The rebuilt bike was used by myself until 1980. It has been garage stored since then. This bike was first registered in 2019. It has an age-related plate and historic tax status. V5C in my name at this address. The frame was made in 1954 as was the engine which came from another source. I have the factory dating certificate
I have built this bike in the style of 1960's MSS's so it has the four gallon tank, the later seat and headlamp nacelle set-up
