1959 Harley Davidson FL Duo-Glide Panhead in Black / BirchWhite Paint. Same year and looks just like Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley's 59 Pans. Bike was fully restored 5 years ago with only 592 miles since, it runs / operates as it's suppose to. Bike is quite original and is 4 speed, 6 volt, kick start recent new battery and Linkert carb rebuilt. The last owner of this lovely motorcycle always wanted a 500 ISDT Triumph
Unable to find one he decided to build this 350cc 3TA into an ISDT replica.
This bike is testement to his skills as an engineer with some lovely details such as the spare lever mounted on the bars and the air pump on the rear frame
It starts easily and runs well

There??s quite a story behind this bike, Mike the previousowner bought it in 1976 for £110 with the intention of restoring it when he retired
41 years later after a painstaking no expense spared project therestoration was complete, he had kept detailed records and receipts for thework which totalled £5755 and the bike looked amazing
Sadly when he started the engine he found that it ran badlyand had a massive oil leak from the crankcase joint and would need a completestrip and rebuild ... more

This 1959Venom has been sleeping since the mid 1970??s. It would most probably be veryeasy to get running and recommission for the road in original unrestoredcondition. I have noted the mag has a good spark
