Nice 1971 Triumph Bonneville. First year for oil in frame but I put side covers on it to give it the classic 1970 and older look. I have all the original side cover components to go with the bike. 1979 Triumph Bonneville. Needs a little TLC. Has been sitting for a while. It will start. Probably needs timed. I just rebuilt the new Amal carbs. I installed a freshly rebuilt Joe Hunt magneto. And installed a battery eliminator. I??m having to sell because of a knee injury which prevents me from kick starting it. I lengthened the kick starter but it didn??t help. This 1970 Cheney Triumph ISDT rep was one of a fewreplica??s built by Cheney after the successful ISDT campaigns of the early 1970??s
The bike has been in storage since the 1980??s. Althoughit has gathered dust and dirt from storage it was very easy to get started andruns superbly. (All I did was check oil whih was clean, replace petrol taps ,spark plugs and caps and clean points & carb )

Restored bySRM Engineering in 2008-2010 at a cost of £10, 000+, (invoices included inhistory file). It has covered only 1500 miles since its first post restorationMOT in 2010. Lovely paintwork and frame
However Not running at the minute, fair bit of oil leaking from head gasket area probably may need head work, also got slight miss fire when it was running, could be points or timing issues not sure carb may need cleaning??also
