1976 Yamaha DT400 on / road dual purpose vintage bike. This bike is in original condition with no major modifications. The oil is mixed with the gas and the oil injection is not being used.

The engine was rebuilt, valve job and seals replaced, cylinder honed and new rings installed, cam chain replaced with cam chain guide was also replaced. Yamaha XS250 special, was blue, now powder coated black because previous colour was in bad shape. Side panel rattle can & lacquered look ok. New rubbers on pegs and gear change which were both powder coated along with the chain guard. Iv had this bike for over 10 years. Its a 1984. The engine has only done 4 hours since a full rebuild. The barrel was re-bored and a prox piston and conrod fitted. Every bearing and seal was replaced with new. The forks and rear shock had new seals and oil a few years ago. Neither have any leaks. The bike is ready to ride

Bike turns over on the button with no nasty noises, It was ticking over lovely but I think one or possibly two floats are sticking now, I have more than likely dislodged some dirt and I really have no time to sort this

Registration - E379 YFJ
Owned since 2014, originally restored in 2015 so it was fit for the road and rode consistently for a year
Recently started restoring it from frame up. Metal work was shot blasted and wet painted, new wheels, tyres, hubs, shocks front and rear, wheel bearings, bushes etc

Here i have for sale my Yamaha YZ250K 1983 Motocross bike. This bike runs well and is still used for classic motocross practise days. When i bought the bike it was in need of restoration and i did what was needed to make bike rideable. I stripped bike and had the frame powder coated.
