For sale: Moto Guzzi, 1983 SP1000 - ?big block??, 1000 cc. Tax and MOT exempt (previous MOT expired in 2023) since last year. The mileage states 21, 000 miles but whilst this does correspond to some of the available MOTs it cannot be verified. Engine, gearbox and drive train are all good. The engine starts well and runs quietly and strongly. Gearbox is smooth (for a Guzzi!) with no concerns and the final shaft drive is quiet with no apparent issues

Hi and here we have my Yamaha RD125LC MK1 UK bike from 1983 with a classic two-stroke engine. I bought the bike in 2015 with a view to restoring it. I gavethe bike a service and ran it for a few hundred miles to check it was sound. Itwas so I kept it. The bike has had a bit of cosmetic work done to it by aprevious owner, but it is largely standard which is what appealed. Most of thepaint looks original although there are a few chips and scratches which is tobe expected. The cam chain is fine, but the primary chain is a bit rattly ontick over.
