1977 BMW R100 / 7 modified to R100S I purchased this bike from an estate in Idaho last year. The previous owner was an engineer, collector and restorer of BMW motorcycles. 1979 R80 / 7 registered historical so mot exempt and free tax Clock shows 16500 miles which I believe it to be true, backed up by old mot certs. Only issues are idiot lights are temperamental, the front brakes are ?interesting?? and she looses some charge if left sitting for longer than a couple of days. Could be the old battery or could be a diode?. If I were keeping her long term I??d be tidying up the electrics.
