Hi I have finely and very reluctently decided to sell my Ariel Huntmaster that I have owned since 2009. I have not used the bike for almost 8 years due to health issues. The bike starts first time most of the time and having ridden it on a private track all seems to be working and it is charging the new battery I fitted, if I was going to keep it I would repaint the fuel tank as the paint has blistered all over it as seen in the photos but apart from that I would leave it as is as I think it ... more

You'll note the number plate FTH 777 was assigned to the bike on 01 / 03 / 1996, so what happened; she was manufactured in 1939 (that is a certainty) soon after she was war requestioned and so received a military number plate.
