I bought this about 12 years ago as a small project. Did some minor work on it at the time, namely changing the oil, replacing some of the hose / brake lines and one of the turn signals. I've had this Elsinore since 2001 and rode it a little during the few few years and then I kept it in my garage. Hasn't been run since 2003 or 2004. Carb and gas tank got gummed up so I replaced tank with a re-painted original Elsinore tank. Guy that painted the tank also coated the inside and I have not put gas in it yet so it's clean. For sale is a 1975 (Error in title saying 74) Shovelhead Superglide. This bike was stripped down and custom painted from the ground up. 1971 Yamaha CT1 175cc Enduro or Dual Purpose Motorcycle. I have Owned this for approximately 20 Years and Enjoyed it Thoroughly. It is Very Original and Very Nice as Pictures Show. It has the Original Optional Buddy Seat and Rear Foot Pegs to Allow a Passenger to Ride. The Original Turn Signals are in Good Condition but I have not ever Used them or the Lights as I Only Rode it at Events or Shows. Had this bike a few years used in a classic scramble and acouple of classic enduros. I believe itwas originally imported by DK Off Road. I fitted new bars, grips, front brake shoes, fork seals, fork brace, UNI foam filter, Genuine Mikuni Carburettor, re-coveredseat, new tyres and NJB Ultimate shocks.
